A memorial Service In order to commemorate the life of the honorable Nelson Mandela in Dallas

Dallas, Texas.

Yeharerwerk Gashaw, Ethiopian born human rights activist and Actress in Dallas, Texas, is organizing a memorial service in order to commemorate the life of the honorable Nelson Mandela and celebrate his life and noble work. Yeharerwerk traveled with Mandela and served him as an interpreter during his visit to numerous French speaking African countries.

Speakers at the memorial will include long time anti-apartheid activists in Dallas, Roy Williams and Marvin Crenshaw, as well as Dallas African community members and community activists Nebeyu Damte, Mesele Kele, and Linda Anuku.

The hour long tribute to Mandela will include prayer and a candle light vigil. And
a special prayer service will be conducted by Dr. Roscoe Smith of Dallas.
